I just recieved my first shipment of your XXXL rats. Good grief, I thought you guys had shipped me something from the abyss. Thses things are huge and I am very pleased. Any pet store I have bought from havent even come close to the size of these things. I was surprised how clean a fresh they were. Most frozen feeders have broken limbs, and smell awful when they are thawed, yet these were clean, smell free, and better than any I have gotten anywhere else...Oh yeah, and cheaper. I am the "snake person" at a local pet store chain, having charge of our numerous snakes. I also have 5 snakes of my own. I have been feeding live mice to our store snakes as well as my own, even though the mice are sub-standard, sometimes sickly ... and extremely over-priced. Try $2.50 per mouse!! After mulling it all over, I decided to switch my own snakes over to frozen/thawed mice, for many reasons. For one, I needed healthy mice of different sizes. For another, I had to find a source that would provide quality feeders at a price I could afford on an ongoing basis. I searched around and found YOU. I placed an order for 50 large mice and 25 extra-large mice, holding my breath to see what arrived. Would they be healthy specimens? Would they arrive nicely frozen and not mushy? Most importantly ... would my crew of 5 snakes actually EAT them? My ball python, three corn snakes and an extra-large female black-and-white banded California kingsnake would ONLY eat live rodents in the past, so ... I was taking a chance. Your mice arrived on schedule as stated. All were perfectly frozen, as if taken right out of the freezer. All were healthy, larger-than-expected rodents. And, the most important factor of all .... every last one of my snakes gorged themselves silly tonight on Rodent Pro rodents! Thank you for an incredible ordering experience. There was a small problem with arranging delivery of the rodents as I was going to be out of town next week and our school (where I was having delivery) was out on vacation the next week. I just wanted to drop a note of thanks! My order came yesterday of quail and XL mice for my kitten, Waverli, and within a minute or so she was eating the one day quail.. having never even been experienced to quail at all! They must have tasted and smelled REALLY good to her because normally she plays with her new food when she's not sure she wants to eat it. I feel confident that these animals received top quaility care at your facility and what eases my mind is that they were humanely euthanised and never felt pain in their lives. I prefer to feed animals that are not environmentally hazardous (ie like pigs, chickens, cows on factory farms) as well, because that means they're healthier for my kitten and we can cut down on chicken, turkey and pork in her diet. She just ate a mouse about 5 minutes ago and now she's frisky and running around the house (something I rarely seen with other frozen rodent brands)! "The rodents I ordered arrived while I was at work and my husband packed them away for me. I was extremely unsure about ordering anything online, but with the ridiculous prices I have been paying just to feed my snakes was killing our budget.
